I am not a religious person, but I am a spiritual one. An associate of mine, gave me this small book, The Prayer of Jabez, to read, I took it home and read it in a day.
There are no co-incidences in this world. This book was a turning point in my life regarding to my belief that there is a "GOD" or a Force or a Power that affects every living thing that breaths on this planet. Ladies and Gentlemen, THERE IS A GOD.
1. Rent A Hand is a perfect example. Over 22 years ago, this writer had a dream. A dream that changed my life. The creation of Rent A Hand, name and all of its contents described in the dream. 22 years later, another inspiration prompted me to create an extension of Rent A Hand. Rent A Hand's Network, which is a Directory.
2. So what is the connection to "The Prayer of Jabez" Simply put.........
In the prayer, Jabez asks GOD to "enlarge his territory." The interpretation, in my world, is that the word "territory," was Jabez's land. However in today's modern world, territory could mean anything, i.e. business, romance, home, health, etc. To me it meant business. By the way. The Prayer of Jabez is in the Old Testament in the Bible.
3. So, what am I saying? First of all, I am not religious, as stated above. All I am saying in this blog, is that my sincere belief is that the website of Rent-A-Hand, in which you are now on, will be around long after we are gone assisting people in all matters of life, especially employment for those who are unemployed or need extra cash and for our seniors and the disabled.
4. This is not Ripley's Believe or Not people, this is a fact. RENT A HAND WAS MEANT TO EXIST,. and existing it is serving needy people.
