THE LONELY DAYS OF CHRISTMAS-2009 Print E-mail
THE LONELY DAYS OF CHRISTMAS – 2009 As a senior advocate and a senior myself, my heart goes out to those individuals living alone during one of the most depressing and economical disasters since the “Great Depression.”Ladies and gentlemen, one word – SMILE.  Yes, smiling does not cost a penny.  Look in the mirror as you do so.   Yes, that is you.  Do you not look younger with that smile?    Less wrinkles, and there is a tiny sparkle in your eyes.  Continue to look at yourself for a few more minutes.   You will find that the longer you look into that mirror; you will be a lightening in your heart. Something like the first time you met your first love, or giving birth to your children.  Yes, it is magical.Life is not an easy journey to walk on now a days.   However, my senior friends, it is a journey of hope, as there is always an adventure around the corner.   You see, everyone that you meet, whether friend or foe, is important for you. Why, because there is a lesson to be learned, and/or a new friend to be had.Think back to last year’s 2008 holiday. Think about the people you met during the year.  Who stayed a while with you as a friend, and who was just an acquaintance for a fleeting moment of two or three.   How did your life change? So, in your moments of loneliness, you have yourself to keep you company as you remember those people that drifted in and out of your life.   SMILE my friends, as you read this blog.  Look into the mirror and find a younger person looking back at you.Ladies and Gentlemen, everything you need is inside of you, really.   God Bless and Happy New Year

Heart Attacks And Drinking Warm Water Print E-mail
This is a very good article. Not only about the warm water after your meal, but about Heart Attacks. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating.
