These senior-age men and women from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and experiences come together to get to know and meet one another for a free, hour-long talk session known as the Senior Chat Room

The program stimulates the minds of those who attend in various ways,. It usually begins with a mind game, such as what several terms have in common. In most cases, these seniors are "sharp" and quickly one or more shouts out the correct answer. This is followed up by sharing news items that may be of special interest to them around town.
Than to really get the discussion going, the question of the day is presented to the group. This could be on almost any topic. For example, at a recent senior chat session, the topic was "What is the best one hundred dollars you ever spent? Another favorite question of the day was, If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself?
By the end of the hour everyone was smiling and looking forward to attending next week just to find out what the topic of the day would be. The consensus of the people attending is that the Senior Chat Room is a great opportunity to get to know people and expand their mind.
